Great overnight stay had a snack at the restaurant all good would stay again

We made our reservation thru Dockwa so we assumed there was an available slip. The attendant at the gas dock asked us to wait while they determined which slip we were going to. I After about an hour I asked where our slip was we were told we would probaly be tied up to the gas dock.We were not provided a slip so we tied up to the gas dock. When we called one of the owners we were told he doesn't handle those things. When we rode bikes to a resturant we passed at least two empty slips. We don't mind tying up to a gas dock but the way things were handled was unsatisfactory. There were no showers available as the men's showers were used for storage and the women's bathroom was clsed as "out of order" The sink in the men's bathroom was littered with dead bugs and flies.

I do apologize that you weren't assigned a slip or obviously given a transient packet. The bathrooms and showers you're talking about are for employees and fuel dock traffic only. The bathrooms you want to use are up at the pub in the clubhouse. They're numerous, private, and clean. Anytime the light is on and the door is left open on the office bathrooms, it draws the bugs in by the water at night. Mayflies. We did have someone not as familiar covering that evening when you came in because of a family emergency. The owner handles the service yard. Coming in late and staying on the fuel dock was probably your best option with the breeze anyway. They didn't see it fit to put your 50' boat in a 40' slip (the open ones you seen). Very nice marina with a Pub and pool on property. Staff was amazing with a huge shout out to Junior on the dock. He stayed after hours to bring us in and get us on the dock. I will return…

Great facility in a snug, well protected harbour! Friendly, helpful & professional staff. Especially Junior! He was there to help with lines & get us settled . A wonderful night at their friendly pub was appreciated after several days on the move.

Services are provided quickly and completely. The staff is friendly and inviting. The use of a car for running errands is very helpful. located in an easy area to access and easy fuel dock location.

Great staff. They met us and helped us tie up. Gave us the scoop on the marina and local places to eat. Floating docks area great and in great shape. Restrooms and showers very clean.

A sign of a questionable operation is when its management feels it has to go on Yelp and give itself a 5-star rating. Ashley A. manages this boatyard and did just that. You can read her rating of herself on the Yelp site.
Management states in a different response on this site that they do not have live-aboards. They most certainly do! Our neighbor was one, and we heard of others.
I had my 44’ sailboat there all last 2025 season. The electric shore power pedestal did not work when we got to the slip in May. We were assured it would be fixed immediately. I kept asking all summer. Always the same answer but no fix. All summer I had to run my own longer cable to various other pedestals which sometimes worked and sometimes did not. All that time the cables were run over by dock traffic.
Management response to other issues was similarly bad as well. I won’t go into it all. The season’s experience was frustrating. Requested services were promised and not performed. Lower-level workers were very helpful.
I expect to see these guys write some sort of rebuttal and rationalization. All I can say is “reader beware”.

Hi Vining, I don't have Yelp because I do not believe in bashing businesses or people especially online, but I warned them not to rent to you. You can tell who is going to be problematic right off the bat. You refused to pay your electric bill, amongst other things, so we told you that we wouldn't be renting to you next season. Keeping a boat at a marina all year doesn't mean you're a liveaboard. You became a hazard to everyone and everything when you entered the slip and when you exited. Staff went out of their way to make sure you didn't hurt or injure anybody or anything. I hope all the best for you. I won't be responding to the dishonesty about the electric pedestals. Of course, I am going to respond back when someone spews lies. Be aware that we don't tolerate repeated poor, inexcusable, and unjust treatment. I did make a comment on there that I don't do Yelp, but responded back to a girl who gave us a 1 star review because I did not hire her. It was nice to stay at a family run business. All the staff and fellow customers alike were very welcoming. I especially enjoyed having a few drinks at the Blue Fish. The staff there were amazing.

Nice spot for an overnight stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful but a little pricey for it is. Even charged for a pump out after purchasing fuel and a nights stay.
I attempted calling the numerous times via VHF as is was very windy on our approach. It wasn't until we had already docked at the fuel dock before anyone came out to assist

While the marina worked hard to fit us end (removed a sunken boat from what we're told) when we arrived in was mass confusion! Land off for 15 minutes then finally given a fairway letter to go to.. it was not marked. I asked again where ? Weber kept looking for a dock hand, none seen. Flush now someone tells us another slip and fairway..yes two people given us information.. suggestion use two channels one for docking and one for you fuel dock...
Over all the marina is OK, rustic and seems full of live aboards from looking at some of the boats..

I was not present because of a medical emergency, but I will check into this. We don't have liveaboards, so that assumption is incorrect. I can't make heads or tails out of most of your other comments like two channels. 16 is used for hailing and distress only and then we have you switch to a working channel. Have a great trip.
