Point Independence Yacht Club

Our 2nd time there we will be back again next year! Always a great place to stay!

Spent two nights on a mooring. Early season, but Point independence Yatch Club was open. Mark promptly responded to our request with the gate code & the code to the clubhouse. Facilities were very nice & exceptionally clean. Laundry was very nice & affordable, $1.50 load for each machine, two washers & three dryers. Great facility, very welcoming, offered to take me to CVS about 2 miles but I needed the walk. Onset is nice with several restaurants & bars, a grocery/liquor store , and an ACE hardware all within a Short walk. We will be back!

The transient dock is a long face dock so easy in easy out. The people are helpful and welcoming and happy to have you. It's a bit of a walk into town but pretty flat with impressive homes along the way. You can also dinghy over to the town dock if you prefer.

Stopped here on our way north. Easy access to amenities and all members and staff that we met were kind and helpful. We paid a return visit on our way back south. We love IPYC and Onset. Thanks again to the folks at IPYC who make Onset such an easy and fun stopover. Came in again June 2025. Mooring price has gone up but still a good deal. Came here yet again in September as we headed south. Still love it .

Easy communication with the marina, mowing balls, clearly identified and the morning field easy to navigate. The facilities were immaculate. Will definitely plan a future visit

Fantastic hidden gem in Onset, MA. We've been to this town many times making passages through the Cape Cod Canal. If you need services - fuel, pump out, laundry, showers they have it all in a very clean and friendly environment. Our new favorite place to visit on passages. Having access to the indoor lounge made for great relaxing off the boat too.

Great place, friendly people. We brought a dingy which was nice to get around. Plenty of things to do. We will be back.

Stay was nice, communication by Marina was great. Very nice facilities. As others have mentioned, the dinghy dock is the only complaint. Full with dingys tied up with no line slack, so very difficult if not impossible to get onto it.

Club members were very welcoming and the dock hands were very capable, impressively so. We would love to return!

One of the best marinas we have ever stayed at. These folks are amazing and so are the facilities. The Friday fish fry was perfect.

Mooring was perfect Steward was very helpful in the morning getting ice and bringing it to my boat. Very helpful. I will definitely return back

Great relaxing location with a welcoming staff. Clean bathrooms and shower stalls. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next year.

An Turas & I had a wonderful opportunity to stay here for a period of days. The Dockmaster is fantastic, professional, and helpful. Great facility.

We had a nice stay. The people are very nice. The only negative is the dinghy dock is very crowded if you are on a mooring and need shore access.

Excellent service and facilities

We had a fabulous stay at point independence! The dock master Henry and the older gentleman Mark were very helpful in assisting us upon our arrival. My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and facilities offered at PIYC.

Best stop on the Cape. Dockmaster Mark and his crew are fantastic. They will do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. Great facilities. In walking distance to great restaurants. Whenever we are here, we feel more like a club member than a transient boater.
