Marina is just 6nm N of Georgetown SC on the ICW / Waccamaw River. Part of a gated community and golf course, it's just a couple of miles from groceries, shopping and restaurants. Pleasant walks with beautiful views of the river, marshes and course. Uber readily available. Marina staff is great – Trent (dock-master) welcomed us and assisted as needed. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Water, electrical, wifi and pump-out. Friendly folks and beautiful area! Enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location on the ICW. New dock decking and rub rails. Inexpensive too which is a plus. No amenities close by but it’s great for an overnight stop. Highly recommend for anyone passing through.

Dock master Trenton sent detailed pics of our dockage & excellent instructions. He stayed later than set hours to assist expertly with dock lines. Nice clubhouse, clean showers. Beautiful natural quiet environment

Marina was not open and no staff available, but space and power was available. It was a calm night but any big wind from the north might make for a bumpy transient night. Docks are generally new.

Trent, the dock manager, was very helpful and friendly. I arrived single-handed and he helped me dock and get situated. When a power issue arose after hours, he was responsive and fixed me right up. It is not a commercial marina, but a well run community Marina. Thank you for a great stay!

Great staff. Quaint marina. Sometimes boaters don’t head the no wake and can get bumpy.

This is a pleasant marina with good staff. The marina has limited free laundry and a nice captain's lounge. No restaurants or activities near by, but this was a stop.

We're located at the back of a 500-home community and it's roughly 3-5 miles to get into town. Uber and Lyft will pickup/drop off in the marina parking lot. We spent two nights at Heritage Planation! From my first call of inquiry Trent was amazing! We docked in ferocious winds, waves, and current! He got us in and tied to dock with patience and wisdom! We felt like we got a master class in tying up! Free clean laundry! Great showers. Beautiful captain’s lounge. This marina is in a beautiful neighborhood- great walks and dog friendly. Road transportation is needed to shop or site see. About 1.5 hours north of Georgetown. Great rates!

Overall, pleased with marina. The reason this review was 4 stars rather than 5 was that the docks need better lighting at night - dim & far & few between, especially at bottom of ramp to outermost dock - and more cleats. Otherwise very clean restrooms & shower, nice boater lounge & deck.

About Heritage Plantation Marina

The Heritage Plantation Marina face-dock is conveniently located on the Intracoastal Waterway channel with deep water access (a mean low water depth of 30ft), which gives us the ability to accommodate larger vessels. Transient space is limited, so book your spot now!

We are seven nautical miles north of the Lafayette Bridge in Georgetown, SC on conveniently located on the ICW and Waccamaw River. The marina is located within the gated community of Heritage Plantation, which was developed on the original sites of Midway and True Blue rice plantations in historic Pawleys Island, SC. Intertwined throughout the community is the Heritage Plantation Golf Club, one of the area's premiere public courses with breath taking views of the river, marshes and stately live oaks.

The majority of our dock space is utilized for long term contracts (open to residents & non-residents of the Heritage Plantation community), as available. The Dock House is open daily for reading or watching television and the sunset views from the deck and crows nest are amazing. There are restrooms, showers and free laundry facilities available for guests in the Dock House.

Many options for shopping, dining and entertainment are located within 4 miles of the marina. Local favorites such as the white beaches and scenic walking trails of historic Sandy Island and Brookgreen Gardens are just a few minutes by boat or car Three local beaches; Pawleys, Litchfield and Huntington; offer terrific swimming, surfing, fishing or sun bathing.

Our marina welcomes transient boaters for periods up to 30 days and long term dockage rates are available for those who simply never want to leave. We look forward to you docking with us!
