Unfortunately we didn't end up using it, the response was a little slow so we made other plans. But to be fair, I requested the spot on the morning. I do not want a refund, I love this service.

Amazing! Great weather for bathing and hanging out on floatie! It was very helpful to have a mooring available for spending a sun soaked day on the water.

The island it self was a great camping trip. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the moorings. Someone was on our mooring and we couldn’t get ahold of anyone to help with the situation. The island ranger said it happens a lot and to just go on a different one. Of course we were nervous that we would get in trouble for being on the wrong mooring but it seems nobody monitors them so lucky we were fine. Aggravated I paid for a mooring didn’t get that mooring which was closest to the island and someone got it for free.

The mooring field was very spacious so the boats were not too close to each other. The water was beautiful. It was a great way to spend a day on the water.

As others have noted, it took a minute to find our mooring, but they are marked fairly clearly, you just have to motor through the field a bit. Beautiful place to swim and watch the sunset or moonrise. Lots of partiers in the afternoon but it cleared out in the evening and was very peaceful. Can't wait to return with our dinghy and explore the island.

Great day on the water! Easy to locate and tie up to mooring at Peddocks. Fun place for adults and 20 something’s to float on lily pad and boat watch!

The mooring pendent was in poor condition. The line was tangled and covered with growth making it difficult to secure.

Peddocks is a great stay; walking trails, historic buildings, and a long beach alongside the mooring field. It's a great place for kids to explore!

We love the islands with swimming, paddle boarding and walking the beaches. Beautiful quiet space it's close to city of Boston .

we could not find our assigned mooring ball. Many of the mooring balls are very poorly marked or even not marked at all. Some mooring balls have damaged pendants that cannot be used. Recommend clearly marking balls and provide a better map of their location. We will not be reserving in the future until these problems are resolved.

I did not have a mooring assigned because you took 7 + hours to respond to my 8am request to assign one. I called your office approximately 12pm but no one replied. You still charged me $15. It was too late by the time you replied.Please refund.

About Boston Harbor Islands: Peddocks Island
One of the largest islands in Boston Harbor, Peddocks Island offers miles of trails, unique geologic features, and the remains of historic Fort Andrews. The island is dotted with colorful cottages that serve as private residences during the summer months. We ask that all visitors be mindful of the residents and their privacy.
The park is open from dawn until dusk. Reservations are available for both daytime and overnight use. Please note that pets are not permitted in the park. To find more information about park regulations and activities, please visit bostonharborislands.org.
