Called a transient slip but advised they no longer can do, only on rare occasion and then only at fuel dock after 530pm and out by 8am. Probably needs to be removed from dockwa, even though their website and the ICW sign says transients welcome. They were friendly enough when we called.
Marina Response:
Harbour Village Marina response; it is true that every slip here is full, we are a private marina with privately owned slips. Occasionally a slip owner may grant us access to a slip. We can put one or two vessels on the fuel dock overnight per the Harbor Master as long as the vessel comes in at the end of the fuel dock business day which is 5:00pm. We do ask that the vessel(s) depart prior to opening the next morning so the fuel pumps are not blocked. We are doing our very best to accommodate and we do apologize for not having more transient dockage available, this is one of the perils of having a full marina. Please call us to check availability. Safe travels to everyone.by Tom L. on May 16, 2025
We've stayed at Harbor Village a few times, and it's always nice. They can accommodate 2-3 transients on their face dock. There are no restaurants or shopping near the marina, but the showers and restrooms are clean. A bit expensive at $3 a foot plus power, but it's one of the only options between Wrightsville Beach and Swansboro, NC. Follow their directions on the entrance channel, as there is a shoal near the first marker, stay well to the Red side.

We popped in here for a night on our way up to Morehead City. This is a private yacht club and the slips are owned by the local boat owners. This is tucked into a neighborhood and there are no resources outside of the marina, so come provisioned if staying a while. The floating docks are in immaculate condition. This marina is very nice and the owners care about maintaining it.
Yvette was incredibly helpful getting us a slip booked and sent us a detailed photo showing us how to approach the narrow channel safely. Brett and Kevin helped with our lines and got us tied up snuggly for the night. Brett then spent quite a bit of time with me showing me some tricky spots we'd be going through the next day, which ended up coming in handy. Brett and Yvette were both lovely and incredibly kind and helpful. We didn't use any of the facilities, but they do have laundry, showers, and bathrooms available for use during your stay. Adding this marina to our list of places to return to.

This is a hidden gem on the ICW. We only spent one night but wish we had spent more. The people were as polite and friendly as can be and the facilities were some of the best we'd seen. Immaculate restrooms and showers, convenient pump out/fuel, and a great location, perfect location for an overnight. We'd certainly stop again.

OCD dock master with little marina syndrome!! Very unpleasant and condescending until you treat him like he does you! Once was enough!
