Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Great dockage

Martin and his team were very responsive from the call to reserving the dock, to answering as we pulled in the channel to taking us out to our dock on the golf cart when leaving. In addition they provided parking outside the gate for visitors coming to meet us at the boat. I will be back.

Sammy eas very helpful on the telephone and provided very useful info on slip location and tide current impacts. H E also included a photo on the marina with my assign slip high lighted making it very easy to navigate

I am a member of Safe Harbor Bristol Marina in Charleston, SC... been here almost a year. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and literally everyone I have interacted with since locating my boat here. The attitude of "go above and beyond" is evident in everything that Sammy Landrum, Martin Mouton and the rest of the staff here at Bristol live every day. I thank God that I was able to become a part of the Safe Harbor family and do not want to harbor anywhere else. Please know what a valuable asset you have in the staff here... I do.

Professional and well done

We just left SH Bristol after an extended stay and can recommend the marina to anyone. The docks are in good shape, and help shield your boat from the ever present river currents. Wide fairways! All the Ashley marinas fight this current, so just be ready for it. As many have shared, the Dockmaster Martin makes things happen, and has a wealth of knowledge for tides, and the Double Drawbridge specs. We came in at low tide, and with a powerboat it was easy clearing the bridges. This is a Safe Harbor marina, and our concierge black card was honored without even asking. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but it was off season. The marina sits right next to town, so easy to walk to Publix and a few others. If you know Charleston, you know it is a city, with city traffic and rush hours. Be prepared to obtain transportation for anything over a few blocks.

We planned to stay only a few days, but extended when we realized what a gem of a marina we discovered in the Charleston area. In a location whose marina choices are mostly limited to mega-docks and city marinas in disrepair, Safe Harbor Bristol Marina was a welcome change, reasonably positioned to enjoy the historic district, but also hitting all the right notes in terms of bathrooms, showers, pump outs, electrics, quality floating docks, and friendly staff. Manager Martin deserves special shout out as being affable, available, and able. He was immediately available for questions, shared his local knowledge of tides and currents, and took obvious interest in guests' satisfaction. We will stay again when returning to Charleston. Of note, entering the marina requires a passing of the Ashley Memorial Bridge rated at 14 feet at highest tide....readers should be aware, however, that the 14 feet denotes the LOWEST portion of the bridge and that sticking to the middle span and even playing the tide could add many more feet. The walk to the bathroom is long from the transient spaces, but after all the great Charlestonian food...its good to bank the steps.

We loved our transient stay at the safe harbor Bristol marina in downtown Charleston. It is very centrally located at the CHS peninsula and close to some restaurants and grocery stores. It is at the beginning of a "no wake"zone which makes mooring there very smooth. The dock master Martin Mouton is the best and very much on top of everything and very good and fast in his responses!

Martin is doing a fantastic job handling the marina. Always on the dock caring for his customers and always super helpful. Will be back!

Had a nice weekend visit! Given docking location and instructions via email prior to arrival. Staff met us on the dock and helped with luggage with a golf cart ride nearly to our hotel.

Could have not asked for a better experience. once we arrived the dock hand was waiting to help us and even stayed around to give us pointers on dinner and also what was in the area. Hotel was walking distance as well as a publix. Very clean marina and very safe and gated. we will be back for sure.

Martin always takes such good care of our group. He keeps us up to date on our stay, meets us when we arrive, brings ice and puts in our coolers daily, and assists us when we leave. He's a asset to your marina! See you next year!
