Maeve and Marina were very welcoming and professional. The location of the marina is perfect for visiting Edgartown. We love the pool and the fire pits too! We’ll be back!

The facility is nice enough and the marina staff friendly and helpful, but I feel it's not a great value. First, the dock cost $800/night for our 53' LOA boat and only water is available...there is not electricity. I'm not saying electricity wasn't included in the price. I'm saying it literally is not available (which they very clearly state on Dockwa so it was no surprise). Also, check in isn't until 3pm, so if you're moving from a mooring in Edgartown to The Harborside, you need to find someplace for your boat from 10am to 3pm. For our convenience, we'd purchased an additional night on a mooring in Edgartown so we wouldn't have to leave our mooring for 5 hours before the 3pm check-in time at Harborside. The slip was convenient for our guests and us to get to/from a restaurant (vs calling the launch), so there's certainly some value there. Access to the pool and bathrooms/showers might be of value for some, but we didn't use those facilities. Please note that because they have two parallel docks perpendicular to the shore line and there's only about 40' between them, it appears it's possible to get 'trapped' if you're the boat closest to shore, so definitely communicate with the dock master so they understand your departure time. Speaking of which, my wife and I scouted the docks prior to the start of our reservation. and we were told that we may be able to get in early and that the dockmaster would call us if we room was available. Around 2:30pm, we prepared the boat for moving from our mooring to the dock (put all fenders, fender boards and lines on) and gave a courtesy call to the Harborside dock master to say we could be there at 2:45pm. We were told that we could show up at 3pm. So, we waited 1/2 hour and showed up at 3pm only to have to hold our position for 10 minutes while another boat held it's position next to us while it was being prep'd for docking. We were asked to stand by while they got ready to dock their boat. If Harborside had just let us in a couple minutes early, there wouldn't have been two boats sitting in the channel outside the marina. A minor inconvenience, but most other docks and moorings are more accommodating to early check-in if space is available. In summary, I simply don't believe there's value in paying $800 for a dock with no electricity when we could be on a mooring in the same area for 1/10th that price.

Great location to walk around town, and great crew at the docks! My favorite place to dock on the Vineyard. The dockmaster or any help working the pier have always been very polite and professional as well.

Amazing experience all around! The waterfront manager couldn’t have been nicer, and the entire staff was fantastic. We’ll definitely be using Harborside again in the future instead of a mooring. Highly recommend!
