Absolutely beautiful Marina! There is not much within walking distance, but everything you need is right there. Very clean and immaculate grounds and facilities. Nice pool with pool bar and food, also a restaurant and small provisioning store on site. Perfect place for a stop over. Get there early enough to enjoy the facilities!

Great stay. Duncan helped us into great spot. The cafe restaurant and people were fantastic. Be advised there are clear large day markers to channel not on aquamaps or garmin. They make it easy. Thanks for great stay.

The primary reason for lowering my reveiw was that the pool and hot tub were closed(one of the reasons I like to stop). Everything else was top notch!

Very peaceful. Dock hands were professional. A bit surprised that the Yawl's Cafe is not open at all on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

Loved it, only problem is we couldn't stay there longer to enjoy it more! If you stay there, make sure and stay a few days to enjoy all they have to offer. Dock Master Mark was so friendly and welcoming.

What a beautiful marina and facilities. Hot tubs, pool, showers like a spa and clean laundry facilities. Cafe food was great too! Dock staff amazing and very helpful. Would stay there again.

The marina closes at 5 pm this time of the year. I called and spoke with MJ because we were going to be close on our arrival time. She was so nice and waited for us. She was a delight to work with. The amenities are outstanding and the staff were polite and attentive. We will definitely return!!

A first rate and professionally run Marina. The day manager talked us in and met us on the dock. He knew weather was coming and had us positioned on the excellent floating dock in the best possible position. We extended our stay an extra day due to weather. We are officially off season and this was a welcome break from the cold, wind and weather. We will be back. This Marina rates as one of our favorites. The “cut” is straight and deep. Follow the markers and you will have no issues.

Beautiful place, very nice dock, fine facilities, baths nice, clean, even a steamer and sauna. Restaurant well run and very good food. I had a great burger and wife had fine Grouper. Will stop here again.

Stopped in for a night headed south. Marina staff was very helpful and the facilities and clubhouse are outstanding. Met some friendly locals at the clubhouse Friday night happy hour and dinner was excellent.

Beautiful, quiet, well protected marina. Loved the ability to use the gym, steam room and sauna. The couple of shops and cafe were not open on the day were were there, but that wasn't a problem for us. The bicycles available to borrow were great quality too. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, a little hidden gem where the river meets the woods. Great amenities including clean shower, boat lounge, restaurant, bikes, gym and little shop. Restaurant wasn’t open first night we arrived so plan accordingly. The closest store is 10-15 drive and there are no Ubers. It’s very remote, but a nice spot to stop and relax if you like quieter place. Staff and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again, hopefully next time the weather will be nicer.

Whenever I am cruising up or down the ICW, I always lay over at River Dunes. The facility is immaculate and the staff are always pleasant and professional. Captain Scott Bearhope, is the consummate marina manager, always keeping in contact such that staff will be available to meet you when you arrive. This visit I got to experience what a perfect hurricane hole River Dunes Marina is, as well, as the latest Nor'easter at the end of October was ripping up the east coast. About River Dunes Marina
Welcome to River Dunes. A protected marina on the Intracoastal Waterway at MM 173 with year-round boating, floating docks, private steam showers, and transient dockage. The River Dunes Harbor Club is a boating and social club overlooking Grace Harbor, located in the heart of River Dunes - a boating community just north of Oriental, NC with outstanding onshore amenities. The protected entrance channel opens into Broad Creek, a natural deep-water creek just off the ICW and Neuse River. A must-see destination on the ICW.
