Some of the best trained and competent dock hands I have seen. Easy in and out. Clean and well kept. Walking distance to the town and restaurants. Southport is amazing!!

Very helpful staff. Great floating docks. Short walk to a good selection of several restaurants. Beautiful small town. Great place to stay for a few days.

Came by this morning to get fuel and pump out our holding tank. Our dockhand, Nick, was welcoming and very proactive while assisting us! We will definitely be staying with Southport Morningstar when we return to town this fall! Thanks a lot Morningstar!

Totally sucked. The Marina said that they would send me all the information on the location of the flip and anything about the Marina because I was coming in late and after dark. They never emailed me. They never text me anything! I wound up getting stuck in the mud in front of their Marina. A heads up would’ve been nice knowing that I was coming in in the dark! I also never used their electric which I paid for for the slip which I paid for. I wound up, tying up to an inside side tie because I could not find the slip! I think I deserve a credit for the money spent! Or at least be refunded that money!

Very nice marina! The docks are in great shape, staff were very helpful, and the location is right next to town. The power pedestals are new with GFCI protection so we were not able to get power, but that was fine for us. Off River and out of current made docking easy. Highly recommend!

We had a great time, great marina, staff was very helpful. Great place to receive packages and grocery deliveries from Walmart. Short walk to town. Would definitely stay there again.
