Courteous staff. Mariners need to know the fuel dock closes at 5:00 PM and they do not open until 9:00 AM. The channel to the fuel dock is narrow

Nice/clean marina. Close to several nice restaurants and other shopping venues. Internet was good, once I broke the code on which WiFi to use. Only down check is shower facilities. Two showers, facing each other. Not sufficient and a tad awkward between if both showers are in use.

Very nice people. Called in approach and got step by step instructions on where to go. Upon arrival, they gave us a rundown of the amenities. When I pulled up to the for fuel or pump out, they ran right up to assist. I would definitely recommend these guys. The only negative is that the showers could use some serious cleaning. Everything else was great!

As an experienced boater, I can confidently say that Morningstar Marinas | Little Creek is one of the most well-run and boater-friendly marinas on the Chesapeake. The facility is clean, well-organized, and incredibly easy to navigate — even for first-time visitors. The fairways are wide, the current and tides are mild, and docking is stress-free. A special thank you to Andrew, who went above and beyond to make our visit seamless. He promptly passed along the gate codes, offered clear communication before arrival, and personally assisted with docking when we pulled in. His professionalism and helpful attitude truly set the tone for a great stay. From start to finish, everything about Morningstar Marinas | Little Creek reflects top-notch service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth, enjoyable boating experience in the Norfolk area!

This is a first class operation in a convenient location, highly recommended staging spot for southbound or up the Chesapeake passages. Good dock crew. Newer piers. Stable power and wifi. Secure. Clean restrooms. Nice restaurant on the premises. Overall, one of the better places in the lower Chesapeake.

After a “sporty” ride across the bay, to be greeted and helped on the dock by Taylor, Jacob, and Alexandria was awesome. Facilities are nice, staff has been super helpful (thanks Andrew for making room for us for an extra day!).

Marina is in a great location with easy access. Grocery store is a 15 minute walk away which was very helpful. Facilities are in good condition. Slipholders were friendly and very helpful to us in our after-hour arrival. (Be aware that slips don't have visible numbers from the water, so look at a marina map carefully before approach.)

Pros: Staff is Excellent! Very accommodating and friendly. Booking through DockWA is very easy. Bathrooms are clean and showers are hot! Location is great. Quiet and the regulars are all very friendly. Restaurant is also great! Love the food and the staff! Cons: Marina is very outdated and needs some serious TLC and upgrades. Sea Wall is about ready to give in. There's a pool, but it's never been open that I've seen. Bath house/restroom building exterior looks really bad. Staff needs to do a little better with "housekeeping" as garbage sits for quite some time before being removed and toilet paper and paper towels in bathroom aren't replenished often enough.
