I stay here frequently. I do wish the city would discourage non-tenants from accessing the dock. There was one man fishing with a bow and arrow from the dock, and one random young woman sitting on the end of the dock late last night. I was concerned for her safety along with ours. The signs leading to the docks should say no trespassing/not admittance to non tenants (boat owners only).

Encountered very friendly people working on the dock and in town. Very clean nice docking area.

We loved this place. After three nights of long travel and anchorages, it was great to tie up to a quiet rock and have access to electricity and water (pump out was inop). The dock is in excellent shape and all power pedestals had both 50 and 30 amp hookups. No bathrooms or showers. Minimal wakes. The dock is a 5 min walk into the very cute town with a wide selection of excellent restaurants, shops and bars. We would have stayed an extra night but needed to keep moving.

Excellent docks and close to town

Solid dock with power and water, 15 min walk to restaurants. Not much motion from the river if you're on the inside

Dock itself is nice and close to town, but too expensive for no PUMPOUT and restricted fuel hours. Coming into the dock mid afternoon with extreme wind and no dock hands while paying for a marina is not good. Then, no fuel available after we got there and before we needed to leave next morning for next leg of trip is also a negative.

A lot of space for around 10 boats

Great facility. Easy walk to downtown features. Beautiful town. Grocery and package stores require motorized transport.

Relatively new, well maintained floating docks. Adjacent to large waterfront park and revitalized restaurant / business district. Reasonably priced.

Fantastic dock and place to stay, also pretty nice town with lots to see. Just wish fuel pumps were like the ones at all gas stations on the road, put credit card in and pump!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Paducah transient dock. The Dock Attendant and staff at the Parks department were terrific and the town was very welcoming.

This is the first “real” marina south of Alton, Illinois for Loopers heading south. The city obviously spent a lot of money building the marina and sea wall around the city. The floating docks are new. They are wide, with excellent cleats and power pedestals. The marina sells fuel but it was very expensive. The pilings are huge, allowing the marina to float up over sixty feet. This routinely gets tested as the debris line on the adjacent sea wall is sixty feet up. There’s no marina office. One bad thing about the marina: it’s pump out system is hard down. As this is the first marina since Alton, Illinois, it’s been four or five days since the previous pump out. The nearest bathroom is 300-400 yards away in the public facility. The restroom has no showers and is equipped to county jail specifications. Paducah is a fun place to visit with the National Quilt Museum, the River Discovery Center, and the Market Museum being highlights. There are at least a dozen restaurants within easy walking distance of the marina. (Kirshoff’s Bakery - Deli, open only for lunch, is outstanding.) Though there are no nearby grocery stores, Instacart works, though it’s a little challenging as the marina is so new, it does not have an address. (We put in the address for the Quilt Museum and met the driver there.)

Excellent Docks. New, with easy access to power and water. Good deep water even when Ohio is lower. Very close to a historical part of Paducah with good restaurants and shops. Very good place to stop for a few days.

The docs were excellent, power and water was fine. But we’re not having any amenities as in shower, laundry, etc. seems to be a little steep on the price. Gas was 5.11 and the highest price we paid in the last month. The fellow that came down to give us a hand with filling up was excellent, polite, and courteous.

Fabulous docks. Super short walk to town.

Gregg, the dock master was very nice. However, it’s linear and difficult to find a spot due to limited space there’s no Wi-Fi. The dock is good quality. The town is nice with good food and bakery. The diesel was very high priced at $4.97. Overall good value.

Paducah was a great town and stop. The docks are nice however the wakes from passing tugs can be substantial. I recommend using the inside dock space to reduce the wakes. Would recommend this transient dock!

Docks are in very good condition. Power and water available. No restrooms on sight. Gasoline and diesel fuel were available when we were there in September. Paducah was a nice city to visit. Many of the shops and restaurants are closed Sunday -Monday but Museums are open 7 days a week.

We were on the outside of the dock near the river. It was disrupting and bouncing stay with the passing traffic, mainly and surprisingly by pleasure craft more so than barges. Electric power and water was good. Dock was fairly clean. We would stay here again to take a break from anchoring. We stayed two nights, but one was enough for us. Lots of boats staying there each night.

Got to dock had no place to tie up. Boaters made room for us on fuel dock with inches between the walkway and boat behind us. Had to get extension cord out for the electric because there was no power on the fuel side. People staying here I think without reservations.

We enjoyed our stay at the Paducah docks. A little bouncy on the outside. Easy access to town. Farmers market on saturday

EASILY a 5-star if they only had washrooms and showers at a reasonable distance. This is a great town! We're putting it in our "must visit" again list.
