Clark Boat Yard is convenient to Newport and a world away. If you are looking for a small town marina in the middle of the sailing universe this is a great marina.

Mooring was ok. Paid launch price but launch stops at 5. Pretty much useless.

I think you got some misinformation. We just dropped our launch hours down from 9 pm to 7pm during the week days and as always we will try our best to accomodate your needs if you let us know.. The driver was there until 7 on that day. Best, Gary

This is our third time at Clark in this summer. Our opinion has not changed. This is an old fashioned boat yard, in business almost a hundred years. The moorings are in good shape and they are very well protected in prevailing winds. The facilities were clean and convenient. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcomed us as family. I stay at a lot of the large chain boatyards, and can comfortably say this was different, nicer, kinder and less aggressive. A family-run boatyard the way they used to be. I recommend it without reservation.

Super friendly and helpful launch drivers. Nice family run yard. I have been staying here for the past few years while racing in Newport. Lots of parking for the crew and no long times waiting for a launch.

Current in outer moorings results in mooring ball banging against hull. Neighboring marinas did not look to have this issue.

Quiet, “Old Style” boat yard, directly across from the bustle of Newport. Exposed in a Nortb breeze, and some boat wakes. Amenities minimal, but not too far from town.

The launch driver was very friendly and very accommodating. The location was very nice, but with a strong SW wind and opposite direction tide, the mooring kept bumping the boat all night.

Launch drivers were extremely attentive and helpful. Mooring field can get rough and uncomfortable when there is a SE wind and outgoing current swirling. Should be much better with SW breeze.

Beautiful spot across from Newport. Newport skyline and Jamestown bridge lit up like a Christmas tree. Bathrooms and shower are rustic but charming. Walk to town.

Our boats awlgrip paint was damaged by their mooring equipment. Owners of the yard have not answered my email complaint which provided detailed photos and description of the incident. Please contact me regarding this issue. M Myette

Clarks has become my go to stop in the Newport area. The mooring is sheltered and the price is right. Staff are always helpful in person or on the radio.
