The staff and members are always very pleasant and welcoming. The club's buffet dinner on Friday evenings was excellent. The launch always responds promptly and are happy to take you to the club or over to Northport. It has always been a very enjoyable experience visiting Centerport YC.

Great Stop! The people are very friendly and helpful. There are restrooms/showers available. The bar and restaurant that is on location has good food. A higher end restaurant available by reservation, but we ate at the bar. There is a launch that will pick you up and take you over to the town of Northport, very nice town. The dinghy dock is at the main town dock, it says you need a permit, but we parked, and no one said anything. Highly recommended.

Lovely venue, great staff, enjoyable trip to neighboring Vanderbilt mansion with private tour. Moorings are well marked and good communication from harbor staff. Will visit again soon!

This is our second day at Centerport Yacht Club and highly recommend! This time we walked to the vineyard, then came back and had a terrific dinner in their binnacle bar and the staff couldn’t be nicer. knowledgeable and courteous launch drivers well maintained mooring We will be back. One of our favorite stops each year when we cruise the LI Sound. Great facilities and everyone is very accommodating. Launch team is super responsive and happy to shuttle you to and from your boat, club & town dock to enjoy the lovely town of Northport. Thanks team, great job and see you soon. Cheers!

We stayed at CYC for two enjoyable nights. The clubhouse and bathhouse are meticulously maintained and one could not ask for better bathroom/shower facilities which were modern, spacious and sparkling! We enjoyed sitting poolside (beautiful pool overlooking the harbor) and reading; it was too cold to swim; if only CYC controlled the weather, I am sure it would have been perfect as well. Our time at CYC was cut short because we decided to depart and return to our home port ahead of a major storm. As a result, we did not have a chance to dine in the CYC restaurant which we were told is quite good - - next visit! Finally, the launch operators were wonderful including offering helpful suggestions when visiting the Town of Northport across the harbor; and we met some CYC members who were warm and welcoming so all-in-all, this was an excellent experience.

CPYC is a beautiful club with top facilities and staff. They couldn't be more accommodating. The assistant Dock Master Steve and his crew were phenomenal. We lost our house battery bank alternator and they were very sympathetic to our situation offering contacts and possible solutions.....and ultimately allowing us to tie up to the main dock overnight to plug in and charge our house bank for the ride back to NJ. This spot is a fixture on our return trips! Thanks so much CPYC.

As always, we had a great visit to CYC. The moorings are clearly marked, easily accessed, and they are among the cleanest we encounter during our summer cruises. Lunch at the club was good, chicken Caesar wrap and lobster roll. The lobster roll was a disappointment, as it had been overly seasoned with some sort of herb that completely overwhelmed the flavor of the lobster.

Fantastic stay. Great staff, welcoming and friendly, eager to share details of their town and recommendations of places to go. They're super helpful, and the launch drivers are first class. Kitchen in the club restaurant is excellent. Facilities are very well kept. Harbor is very, very pretty.

Great people very accommodating, unfortunately they had a party so we didn’t get to taste the food there for dinner but other than that great place

Thank you for your patience with our dining room Captain. This is why we tell our guests to call the dining room to make reservations. The good thing is that because we run the launch to Northport Village, if our dining room can't accommodate them, our guests still have 25 bars and restaurants to choose from and they are all walking distance from the village dock. We are glad you enjoyed your stay!

About Centerport Yacht Club

*BOATERS WHO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR A CYC MOORING MUST BE A MEMBER OF A RECIPROCAL YACHT CLUB. PLEASE PUT IN THE RESERVATION YOUR YACHT CLUB AFFILIATION AND MEMBERSHIP NUMBER *

Founded in 1947, the Centerport Yacht Club has served for nearly 80 years as a yachting and social activities focal point for the boating community on Long Island's North Shore. Centerport Yacht Club welcomes visitors from other reciprocal Corinthian yacht clubs to come visit and enjoy the beauty and all that Northport Harbor has to offer. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the comfort of our facilities, including the dining room, bar, bathhouse, swimming pool, dock and launch service. Guests visiting from a reciprocal yacht club are asked to write in the club from which you hail in the Customer Note section of the reservation, as well as presenting a membership card upon arrival. It is also suggested that members from reciprocal clubs make lunch or dinner reservations by contacting our house staff. Mooring fees range from $65 on weekdays and $75 for weekends and holidays; special half day rates are also available. The officers and staff at Centerport Yacht Club look forward to meeting you and extending our hospitality to you and your crew.
