Alton Marina

Everything was above my expectations, especially the friendly cooked food!!!

Friendly staff and a nice (smallish) facility with great clean bathrooms and laundry room. Stayed two nights in bitter cold and they took great care of us. Close enough to walk to town, Ubers are available if you don’t mind waiting a while.

We enjoyed our stay at Alton Harbor Marina. Many of the slips are covered, so if you use Starlink, be sure to request an uncovered slip. The marina Wi-Fi is okay, but depends on where you are in the marina. The docks are in good condition and the staff is very helpful and cooperated with moving us when the weather forecast was poor. Thank you!

The personal was very kind. We had every thing for us.

We found the staff to be very accommodating. I felt like a pest to the lady working in the office! But she was very gracious when I lost the key float, when we needed a gate access card, when we wanted to extend our stay a night, when we wanted ice when the store was closed and when we wanted to fill our extra fuel can. She was our own personal angel during our time there! We loved the deli chef! She put a smile on our faces and filled our bellies as well as making a mean Bloody Mary! The amenities were great and we were easily able to bike to restaurants, stores and the sights of the town. We will definitely return when we complete our 2nd Loop!

Alton Marina was great. Accommodating and super friendly staff! Restrooms and showers very clean! Deli had great breakfasts and lunches! We really enjoyed our time in Alton!

We enjoyed our stay at Alton Marina in October 2025. It was a short stay and we did not go into town; however, we did use the restroom facilities which were very nice and the marina was pet friendly! Rob and his staff were very welcoming and accommodating when we needed to adjust our dates for a boat repair. It was also a very convenient location to access the Mel Price lock first thing in the morning. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay here. Great docks, shower facilities, laundry, and a good fuel price, and a small diner in the marina office, that had a good breakfast, (had other food too.) Also, walkable to town. Such a good stop, we extended our stay. Thanks again!😀

This is a very nice Marina and the staff was helpful.

Wow! A++ marina! Stayed here a week. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially Rob and Jill. Took oh diesel and very easy fuel dock. Most slips are covered which is a treat. We don't have AC and nice to be able to leave windows and hatches open while away for the day visiting nearby St. Louis and not having to worry about rain. Yummy breakfast and lunch snack bar and ship's store. Clean heads, showers and laundry ($1 wash, $1 dry). Keyed gates, nice pavilion for Looper docktails, floating swimming pool. Jetty protects from river wakes. One of the nicest marinas I've encountered so far. highly recommend!!

It is mostly roofed and plenty of room. Bathrooms are very clean and nice as were the people. The town is slow. We had a nice coffee at Germania, dinners at bossa nova and old bakery beer Company hamburgers at old bakery were great.

We stay a couple of times a year and our stay is always great! Love the pool, restaurant, staff and all the stuff to do around Alton! Thanks also for having the correct power cord adapter! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Very nice at Alton Marina.

Such a fun marina to visit! Docks are well maintained and there is plenty of room to navigate. The bathrooms were clean. Alton had lots to do and plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the marina. We will definitely be back!

Great docks, amenities and people! We needed to recharge and do some boat cleanup and it was the perfect marina to do so.

Great staff! Pool still open after Labor Day and refreshing. Snack bar was delicious and reasonably priced. Town was nice
