Nice marina. It's beautiful, and the dock hands were very helpful. You just couldn't help but give him a tip.

Friendly staff. Communication regarding Wi-Fi, restrooms, etc. wasn’t great. Docks were fixed and in reasonably good condition. We were next to the fuel dock, which was a fairly busy spot. Location was great and docking was easy. No current to speak of, which is amazing considering its location on Fort Pierce inlet.

Nice marina and staff. Mostly fishing boats with very nice fisherman. Fuel dock easy to get to. Sort of tight getting around and in our slip on the back wall. Not a problem though, it was a nice calm day and protected. We didn't use any of the facilities but the grounds were nice to walk the dog. I would stay again.

Efficient operation.

Our stay at the Pelican Yacht Club was pleasant, if a little stressful. We carry an 8' draft, and while the staff was confident that we could use the marina, it turned out to be something of a logistical challenge. The PYC has limited protection from northerlies, especially on Pier I, and, arriving after hours, we docked in the wrong slip. While we were good there for several days, we received notice that the owner of that slip was returning, and we would need to move. We attempted to move to our original assigned slip only to discover that there just wasn't 8' of water in it at low tide. We could NOT get into it. They did find another slip with a hair more water, but we still sat in the mud at dead low tide. The staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were quite competitive, both for fuel and accommodations. I shower on board, so I can't comment on the bathrooms/shower resources. There is no laundry on site, but there is a coin laundromat within walking distance. There is also a fairly well-stocked market, but the food there is pricey. There is pizza and a couple of humble eateries nearby, and the club itself has two restaurants on site, both a bar/pub and a more upscale place as well. Nice place, but not suited for deep draft vessels.

We liked the staff and were happy with the docks. We had dinner in the club restaurant and enjoyed it as well. We would stay here again.

There was no water on the dock and the code for the bathroom did not work. Docks are in fair condition. Not for people with mobility issues or large dogs.

No assistance getting tied up into slip. Thought that was strange after taking 900 gallons of fuel

Despite very positive prior experience this was a disappointing experience. I received absolutely no help in docking. No one to receive lines. It was a struggle given the winds that afternoon. Pelican Yacht Club, Fort Pierce only had one person on duty who refused to leave the fuel dock for the ten minutes assistance would have been required.

Great facility. Staff is friendly and amenities exactly what we needed.

Great place friendly staff

The staff in the marina and the office were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The pool was clean and very welcome on the hot days. Loved it.
