Seymour’s Boat yard has provided me with a home away from home. From their properly maintained moorings, to their amazing launch Captains who monitor Channel 68. They will pick you up either from a seasonal or daily rental mooring to their dock, literally, steps away from the quaint Village of Northport. In town there are numerous restaurants, the best bakery and shops. Need fuel? They provide both diesel and gas. Have a pup? They are adjacent to one of the nicest dog friendly parks on Long Island. All that, plus one of the most beautiful Harbors on the North Shore of Long Island.

Pretty mooring, nice launch personal.
We will be back!
Unfortunately the launch hours are limited at this time of the year so it is hard to go for dinner and get back to the boat.

Came in for fuel and fresh water and ended up taking a mooring ball with them for the night. Help on the fuel dock was a bit lax but I think there was a changeover of staff at the time. Launch service was timely. Pumpout boat only operates on Saturday and Sunday.

We loved our stay . The mooring was very accessible . The tender service was fantastic every launch was operated by courteous , pet friendly competent pilot . Town of Northport never lets us down ! Great food , folks and of course libations !

We love love love Seymour’s marina everyone there has always been wonderful great place to stay! The only thing i would suggest is that the marina puts a NO WAKE ZONE closer to entering the harbor Mooring # 31 always gets terrible wakes

Seymour’s is our favorite travel location in Southwest Long Island Sound. Excellent harbor and Northport has quite a few excellent restaurants.

My son and I did a little local LI cruising over the weekend and our last stop was Seymour’s in Northport. What a great experience and Seymour’s through Dockwa was just awesome. We hailed them on the radio just moments after booking and they practically ushered us to our mooring. The launch service was top notch and everything ran so smoothly. The first afternoon/evening, we took the launch to town and ate at the Main Street Cafe and got some sweet treats right next door. After dinner and dessert, we walked through town and took the launch back to the boat where we had a peaceful night sleep. We woke up and took the launch back to town for egg sandwiches at the new place next to Main Street Cafe, then walked down to Copenhagen for muffins and cookies. Both were great, but we could’ve gotten everything at Copenhagen. We took the launch back to the boat and wound up taking our boat back to the dock to pick up fuel. Once again, the Dockmaster at Seymour’s was very helpful and we were on our way. I highly recommend this stop, and Seymours in particular, to anyone passing through.

I have stayed here twice on a mooring and the marina is wonderful. Tender is extremely responsive and quick. Fuel dock is easy access passed the mooring field. Downtown is cute with plenty of food options, cafes and a drug store as well as ice cream options. Beautiful park right next door to watch other boats and the gorgeous sun set. A++

Considerable wait to have the mooring number, on a confirmed reservation, they kept asking the boat size 4 times....beyond that everything else was ok.

Great place to grab a mooring. Easy to locate and we were given a choice of a few to select from. Protected harbor; quiet. The Seymour's staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The launch service is very efficient. Water and gas are easily accessible.
There are plenty of stores, ice cream shops, and restaurants in town, which is about a 3 minute walk from the dock. We ate at Skipper's which had a nice bar. We were able to get a table for 2 rather quickly. Friendly service and great food. Also, there is a nice village park next to the dock. Perfect for picnics and a place for kids to play. We were lucky enough to catch a concert in the park, as well.

Great service at Seymour’s. They gave us great directions to get to the mooring ball we reserved. The tender service rocks. Fast, friendly and made it a breeze to get to town. 10 out of 10 would visit again.
About Seymour's Boatyard
Seymour’s rental moorings continue to be the safest in the harbor. Each year moorings are pulled, inspected and upgraded. We use New England Rope’s premium 3-strand nylon line & will never reuse lines from a previous season. All moorings come equipped with a new bridle & chafe gear; one pennant line and one safety line. All moorings come with a 4 ½ foot pick up stick and additional options are available if needed.
Transient Moorings available daily & weekly.
We set moorings in Northport Harbor, Centerport Harbor, Eaton's Neck, Sand City, Duck Island Harbor, Asharoken, Northport Yacht Club and Centerport Yacht Club.
All moorings serviced by Seymour’s exceed standards set by Northport Harbor Advisory Board as well as Northport and Centerport Yacht Clubs.
