We had a great stay at Deer Harbor. Booking was easy, and the staff was there to help with docking when we arrived, which made the process smooth and stress-free. We were even able to pick up some jalapeños we needed for our ceviche at the harbor store. On Friday night, we walked over to the local BBQ spot where there was live music. The atmosphere was peaceful, fun, and a great way to spend the evening. The showers and restrooms were clean and well maintained, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back and recommend Deer Harbor to other boaters looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stop.

This is our home away from home! Dock hands were awesome! We had a super great stay at Deer Harbor. Friendly staff, dog friendly. We love it! Marc and all were great. Fuel dock easily accessible, gift shop well stocked. Always a good stay here!

The staff here are always great. Love the breakfast sandwiches and how quiet it is. We had an issue coming in late and not having our slip assignment in the pitch black, ended up just taking an end tie but all was good in the morning. Get a map of the docks and your slip assignment a couple of days ahead would be great.

Deer Harbor Marina excels in the ease of reserving space - great web based form. Easy to get into the Marina with dock hands available for docking. There wasn't a town nearby, but the people in the little store were very congenial - the ice cream cones were oversized and wonderful. We would definitely return.

Such an idyllic place hidden from the elements. The undertone of yesteryear with a quaint Harbor town being greeted by locals and the beauty of nature in the PNW. The marina staff are all very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. A must do while boating in the San Juan Islands.

We were met at the dock with assistance and friendly greeting. Everything was in good order and we enjoyed our 3 day visit. Beautiful location! The only drawback is the sketchy WiFi.

Nice quiet clean harbor with restrooms, showers, convenience store with fresh coffee and sandwiches, free wifi, dumpsters & fuel. A couple restaurants in walking distance and nice people everywhere we went. It was everything we needed! Perfect weekend spent in the beautiful San Juans!

About Deer Harbor Marina

Located on the southwest side of beautiful Orcas Island, in Washington State, the marina has long been a destination and way point for boaters and travelers of the Pacific Northwest.

As those who have spent time at Deer Harbor would attest, this beautiful marina centrally located in the San Juan Islands is an ideal destination or summer cruising base for the islands as well as a quiet winter getaway. Open year round, the marina offers reduced rates during the winter season.

Families enjoy beach combing and playing on one of the best beaches in the San Juan Islands. We also have a fantastic pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool is located across the street and heated. Hotel accommodations and dining are located nearby. Transportation around the island is offered by taxi or shuttle bus to other Orcas Island attractions. Kenmore Air has float plane service from Seattle/Lake Union to the marina. Ferry service is available from Anacortes to Orcas Island, and island hopping is easy to other San Juan Island locations.

Deer Harbor has modern dock facilities with side ties up to 112’, a full service grocery store and restaurant; including beer and wine sales, as well as a convenient fuel dock and pump-out facilities.
