Great Location. Expensive, but it's in a big city so not unexpected.
They allow non-transient slipholders to accumulate lots of stuff on the dock by their slips - we have not seen that much in other marinas.
The only issue we had was that the shorepower voltage we had at our slip was low - 195V for a 50A/208-240V connection. Fortunately, our charger/inverter was able to manage it, so not an issue for us.
We would return, if back in Chicago.

Easy to make reservation. Received nice list of local eateries, but did not receive map for dock/slip location, codes for dock gate and head gate, nor directions where the Floating Head and office were. We had the help of others on the dock. Given wind conditions and tight space, we tied up at more safely accessible slip. I am at Jackson Park Outer, and was at Belmont there last year before the Chicago-Waukegan race also,, so I had a general idea, but would have very hard for someone totally new without that info. Will likely return next year.

We had a terrific stay at Belmont Harbor. Christine and her staff were extremely helpful. The advance communication emails through Docwa with slip assignment, gate codes, bathrooms codes, wifi access was terrific. Each dock had it own access code and the police made frequent patrols down Recreation Drive. This is one of the best marinas we have stayed at on our Great Loop trip.

First time staying at Belmont and I can guarantee we'll be back. Nice clean marina and close to many places to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful when questions arose. Walking distance to Wrigley!

F Dock Bathrooms were cleaner than on past visits. There is a lack of space to hang and place belongings when using the showers. The Marina should add clothes hooks to the back of each door and mount a shelf over the air dryer or light switch for users to place personal items while showering.

For many years we have spent Thursday Thru Sunday at Belmont, prior to that with a smaller boat Diversey Harbor for the Air & Water Show weekend. It is a fantastic place to be with the City in the background. The amenity's are good, nice to have a fuel dock with Ice and free pump out. Will be back next year. Christine is a real pro- Thank You.

Well protected Harbor, clean and being on the south side, easy access (the north side is not so great on weekends or holidays) also convenient to Chicago Yacht Club
About Belmont Harbor, the Chicago Harbors
Please Note: 2-3 night minimum may be charged for special events of holidays. Belmont Harbor has a 30ft minimum for slips and 25ft minimum for moorings.
Belmont Harbor is located in the heart of beautiful Lincoln Park and is one of the largest harbors in the Chicago Harbors system. A favorite among families and long-time boaters, the harbor is surrounded by acres of park space and a beautiful skyline view to the south. There are 818 slips, mooring cans, and star docks that can accommodate boats from 28-80 ft+ in length. Belmont Harbor is the home of several yacht clubs including Chicago Yacht Clubs Belmont Station, Belmont Yacht Club, and the Chicago Match Race Center.
Transient docking is available; please call for reservations any time after May 15. Belmont Harbor has a fuel dock facility, with gas and diesel fuels. Additionally, there is a mast stepping/unstepping capability at the Harbor Building (reservations required). Dry storage available. Waste pump-out equipment is available on a no-charge basis. The harbor monitors channels 9 and 16 and the switch to/working channel is 69.
