Beautiful marina in a beautiful setting. Got help with my lines and had a nice hike to Moran State Park. Marina bathrooms were clean and staff was friendly. Really love the peaceful setting

Quiet, nice docks, and good electricity and water for the boat. The dock hands were very helpful..

Clean new docks, wide berths, helpful staff and beautiful grounds, good food at the grill, unfortunately the old mansion is presently closed.

Overall great but two disappointments:
1) the grill restaurant was closed. Tuesday/Wednesday.
2) Whale boats parked overnight beginning in early afternoon blocked the fuel dock, delaying refueling to the following morning.
Look forward to seeing the resort renovated and reopened.

Our third time staying here. I know some long time visitors to this place say it’s not the place it once was but I’ve enjoyed myself here every time. Good marina services and comfortable mooring. Had a nice meal at the Harbor Bar and Grill. Thank you Rosario. We will be back!

Rosario marina is really trying after the hotel and restaurant were closed for restoration. The restaurant by the marina good, docks are new and the pool is up and running. Staff can help with docking. I do however miss the champagne brunch of the 80’s. And walking the hotel interior.

Sigh, the Rosario marina just isn't what it once was. Glad it still exists for a quick stopover, but no longer a real destination. Marina and grounds have split off from the resort which is probably a good thing. But the grounds are minimally maintained, likewise for the bathrooms (and no pool towels when we arrived). Final kicker was being assigned to moorage off the fuel dock—for the price, that just isn't satisfactory. Nice staff that means well, but just not worth the expense or effort.

We never bothered with the restaurant as there was nothing for kids. Family place but nothing for kids. Grossly overpriced for what it is.
Marina Response:
There is a bunch of games for kids to play. In addition there are hiking trails, and a swimming pool.
Try the restaurant and the pool sometime. Thanks for coming.by Anonymous on Aug 19, 2025
It had been years since we'd stayed at the Rosario Marina and yes, things have changed but it is still the beautiful place I remembered. The marina docks are in a great shape, the showers and bathrooms are clean and the pool looks very inviting. The Rosario Mansion is separate from the marina in ownership and is not open at this time. I believe it will need a bit of updating at some point. But the setting of this historical place is spectacular so hopefully it will once again be open and enjoyed!
We had a wonderful dinner at the Harbor Bar and Grill which is right next to the marina. Great food and great service! I also feel like it had an exceptional menu with plenty of choices. We were there on a Monday night and they even had live music. Just a perfect setting! At some point it would be nice if they offered breakfast but the restauranteur has just gotten started and from what we saw, he's off to a great start.
I think there is much to look forward to as this little gem will only get better and better with planned improvements ahead.
Another perk is the whale watching trips that go right out of the marina and kayak excursions. We were fortunate to see a pod of Orcas right in front of the marina as we came in. Amazing!
We are already looking forward to our return!

Thanks So much for coming!by Robert S. - Verified user on Aug 19, 2025
Best docks and dock-side services around but with a fairly high moorage cost. The surrounding grounds and services are marginal; no store anymore.
Marina Response:
Thanks for coming. The marina is beautiful and new. The restaurant and pool are the main amenities. We are low key. We may have a small grocery next year. Time will tell.by LInn J. - Verified user on Aug 18, 2025
What isn't to like? Awesome staff and dock crew! One of our favorite stops.

Beautiful harbor, helpful professional marina staff, very nice outdoor pool. The whole environment is very inviting and easy access to town if you have a vehicle. And there is taxi service.

Very pleased with the new ownership of the marina and the opening of the Harbor Bar and Grill! The marina facilities are modern and clean and the newly-added staff are great -- helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The Harbor Bar and Grill is super convenient, and the outdoor seating is wonderful in the warm weather. The food there is good, but it could be better -- I think it's a work in progress and I'm hoping it will improve with time. We were docked for four days in early August and the marina, restaurant, and swimming pool were being enjoyed by many people. Yes, the surrounding lawns are browning -- not a big deal for us. We've already booked a return visit for next month.

First, the young men who assisted us on the dock at arrival are 5 stars. Very helpful, very energetic, very informative....GREAT job! However, $154/ night is a bit high for the somewhat limited services. Also, I was charged for fuel I did not purchase. There appears to be a refund, but I should have never been charged in the first place and thus the 3 star overall rating.

We went hoping we would be able to give them a good review. Appears as though they are still struggling with staffing. Restrooms pretty dirty and messy from 2 pm one day, all through the evening and not cleaned by 9pm the next morning. Grounds were ok. Docks are nice, as they were replaced no long ago. The overall feel is that they seem to be trying but they have a long way to go. They are one of the most expensive marinas around. Even More than Roche.
I would like to see them succeed. Will try again next year.

Rosario now Rosario Harbor holds a special place in our hearts for over 25 years now. We recently visited under the new ownership. The staff was friendly and the docks were organized and clean. The grill had good food, the lower pool was clean and enjoyable. We were a bit taken back by the lack of grounds up keep. The lawn used to be well watered and green and beautiful plants and potted flowers were the norm. The lawns are very dry and dead, weeds line the walkways and dried flower pots and unfinished glamping sites linger. Still beautiful but some effort towards the grounds would go miles toward a great rating and impression. This is no reason not to pay Rosario Harbor a visit.
Just one man's opinion....enjoy!

The young dockworker was such a special young man. He was raised on the island and represents the owner and the island in a wonderful manner. Really made us feel at home, thanks

I throughly enjoyed my time at the Rosario Harbor Marina. Upon arrival the staff Corinna, Jake, Dom and Hayden were welcoming and kind. They also gave us some amazing suggestions on activities to do whilst we were there. My husband and I especially enjoyed the pool and yard games! If you are looking for a calming, clean, and relaxing environment with plenty to do I would highly recommend spending some time here as a getaway!

We had an amazing experience at the Rosario Harbor Marina. The staff were all so friendly, but especially one of the dockhands, Carina. She was professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, and made the experience that much better. The amenities were beautiful, the bathrooms were all very clean, the pool was clean and warm, and the yard games were all in great shape and fun to play. This was overall a great experience and I will definitely be returning!

such and amazing experience and Corina was a great staff member on our whale watching tour! We had so much fun watching the whales breach and Corina being so knowledgeable she was able to tell us exactly what whales we were looking at!! Her enthusiasm throughout the tour made it more enjoyable while witnessing such incredible animals!!
